Sarah Geronimo‘s “Tala” has just become the Most-Viewed Filipino Music Video of All Time by hitting 141,833,637 views today, June 19, 2020, beating erstwhile leader “Kung ‘Di Rin Lang Ikaw” by December Avenue feat. Moria dela Torre. The Popstar Royalty was in third place last month behind Juan Karlos‘ “Buwan” but “Tala” has been getting significant views gradually since it became a dance craze on social media last year. There’s even a Tala Dance Challenge on TikTok that contributed to the continuing popularity of the track. And now, as expected, it made history.
