K-pop star Kim Jong-In, better known for his stage name Kai, has been voted Sexiest Man in Korea for the year 2018.

Kai was the first member of the South Korean boyband EXO to be formally introduced by SM Entertainment to the public in 2011. The group made a breakthrough when they released the song “Growl” in 2013 which boosted the sales of their first album “XOXO” to over 1 million copies making EXO the bestselling Korean artist in 12 years.

The 24-year-old also works as an actor appearing in K-dramas such as “Choco Bank” (2016), “Andante” (2017), and “Miracle that We Met” (2018). He was also cast in the Japanese drama “Spring Has Come” (2018).

In the online poll “Sexiest Man Korea 2018,” Kai garnered 19.89% of the votes among the 10 nominees. He was neck-and-neck with K-drama superstar Lee Min-Ho who settled for second place with 18.30% Finishing third is Seo Kang-Joon with 12.9% of the votes.
