From the creators of the highest-grossing Indie Film of all Time–“Kita Kita”–comes a thought-provoking romantic drama titled “Through Night And Day.”

The film stars Alessandra de Rossi and Paolo Contis. They have been friends for a long time and have worked in various TV shows and projects but this is the first time that they will team up for a titular role on the big screen. Their natural chemistry is incredible, they have fun and tease each other constantly while making the film.

As for Paolo, this is the first movie he has done after a long long time. Mainly known for comedy and drama, this is also the first time Paulo plays a leading man in a love story.

It is the first time a filipino film has been shot in Iceland which is Alessandra’s dream destination. She feels like it is her second home because she identifies so much with her idol Bjork–Iceland’s very own international pop star. The team took the Ring Road and went around the country by car in seven days.

The film tells the story of Ben and Jen, a couple who embark on a trip of a lifetime before they get married. Their relationship is put to the test as all sorts of misfortune happen to them in Iceland, mostly caused by Jen’s blunders. What they hope to be a trip that would make their relationship stronger ends up tearing them apart.

Produced by Viva Films, “Through Night and Day” is helmed by Ronnie Velasco, the director of “Tuhog” and “My Dear Other Self.” It is scheduled to open in cinemas nationwide on November 14, 2018.
