Lara (Kylie Versoza) gets trapped in a marriage with the violently jealous Jordan (Joross Gamboa) this Saturday (October 27) in “Ipaglaban Mo.”

Her father, Mang Kanor (Cris Villanueva) allowed her to marry her boyfriend, because he wanted her to be happy. Buit he did not know that Lara would be beaten by Jordan out of uncontrollable jealousy towards Lara’s former suitor, Geloy (Luis Hontiveros).

Even Jordan’s mother maltreated Lara because she didn’t initially approve of her son’s marriage to Lara. Jordan’s jealousy eventually turned violent which led him to kill her.

As Lara disappeared, Jordan insisted that she and Geloy ran away together. Mang Kanor became grief-stricken and did not believe Jordan’s story.

Mang Kanor continuously searched for his daughter for two years, until one day a “white lady” appeared in a vacant lot near Jordan’s house and place of business. Upon asking help from authorities to investigate the area, he was grief stricken when bones were uneartherd in the lot. He identified the bones as his daugther’s upon seeing the locket he gave her as a gift.

Jordan admitted to the crime but soon said he was just coerced by the authorities.
