Alisah Bonaobra Refused to Get Eliminated in ‘The X Factor UK’ Boot Camp, Sings ‘Defying Gravity’
Alisah Bonaobra got eliminated in the Boot Camp round of “The X Factor UK” after her group failed to impress the judges with the Mariah Carey hit “We Belong Together.” Fellow Filipina Gaga Lord was also in that group.
After hearing the bad news, the Filipina singer break into tears saying “I can’t go home like this.” She begged for another chance.
Nicole Scherzinger approached her to comfort her and encouraged her to say what she wanted to say. Alisah then burst into a song, singing the last part of “We Belong Together” soulfully.
Based from that impressive performance, Simon gave her a second chance.
During the solo performance round in the Boot Camp, Alisah made sure she didn’t let the judges down by blowing them away with her astonishing rendition of “Defying Gravity.”
She got a standing ovation and will return next week for the Six-Chair Challenge to fight for a place in the live shows.
