Atom Araullo Cautions on Summer Road Rage on ‘Red Alert’

The summer heat can make people feel uncomfortable and cranky. Add heavy traffic and reckless drivers in the mix and you have a catalyst for a road rage incident.

With the safety of Filipino families in mind, Kapamilya anchor Atom Araullo will be sharing tips on how to remain calm on the road and prevent arguments and violence on Wednesday’s (March 22) episode of “Red Alert” on ABS-CBN. Road rage has caused many fights and at times, injury and death of people, as in the case of 27 year-old motorcycle rider Anthony Mendoza, who was killed after a simple road altercation. Rage also turned an ordinary sunny day into a trouble-filled one when a jeepney driver punched a traffic enforcer that was reprimanding him for a traffic violation. Even a happy occasion at a bar between friends can turn messy because of a hot head, just like how a minor bumping incident between two bar-goers led to a whole group beating up OFW Gino Basas to death. Learn how to prevent road rage and flare-ups this summer from experts. Join Atom Araullo on “Red Alert,” this Wednesday, (March 22), after “Bandila” on ABS-CBN and at 9:30 PM on DZMM TeleRadyo.
