Daniel Padilla is 2016 Cover Guy of the Year!
After Kathryn Bernardo won her second “Covergirl of the Year” title last December 23 (CLICK HERE FOR RELATED ARTICLE), her onscreen partner Daniel Padilla followed suit and won this year’s “Cover Guy of the Year”!
This is the first time that the Kapamilya heartthrob snags the title. Last year, the winner was Kapuso superstar Alden Richards.
Daniel topped all social media platforms, garnering 1,450,363 votes on Facebook, 36,330 nods on Twitter, and 190,085 likes on Instagram with a total of 1,676,778 votes.
“Till I Met You” star and this year’s “Sexiest Man of the Year” winner–James Reid–settled for second place with a total of 1,186,507 votes. Rounding off the 5 finalists are Tommy Esguerra (#3 with 193,781 votes), Alden Richards (#4 with 101,979 votes), and Enrique Gil (#5 with 35,499 votes).
