Rita Daniela Reinvents Herself, Launches Debut Album
Rita Daniela, the artist formerly known as Rita de Guzman, is reinventing herself from being known as a Popstar Kids winner to a more mature performer in line with the launch of her first ever solo album (self-titled) from GMA Records. Yes, you read it right, the 19-year-old Kapuso singer/actress has finally released her debut album 10 years after winning the QTV singing competition for children.
During her blogcon last week at the Music Bank in Timog, Quezon City, Rita sampled some songs from her album like “Fallin’,” a revival of the Janno Gibbs hit; “Ihip ng Hangin,” the song used for the TV drama “Seasons of Love,”; “Di Lang Ikaw,” Rita’s original composition; and her carrier single “I’m Flying High.”
