Oscar winner Philip Seymour Hoffman was found dead in his Manhattan apartment on Sunday. New York Police reported a presumed heroin overdose.

Hoffman, 46, was found dead on the bathroom floor of his Greenwich Village apartment on Sunday by police responding to a 911 call.

Hollywood celebrities expressed their condolences on Twitter.
