GMA Network, known for innovating content, is once again offering a thought-provoking drama series with an edgy theme and unpredictable storyline. Captivating your hearts beginning January 27, the new teleserye is called "Rhodora X."

Topbilled by the first Ultimate StarStruck survivor Jennylyn Mercado, the Kapuso actress will portray the role of Rhodora, a woman living with split personality disorder because she experienced extreme physical and emotional abuse when she was a young girl. The traumatic experience compelled her brain to develop another persona inside of her named Roxanne.

Contrary to Rhorora, Roxanne is smart and confident but she’s also scheming and manipulative. She hates her sister Angela (portrayed by Yasmien Kurdi) and blames her for the unfortunate events of her childhood. She will do everything to get what Angela has, the affection of their mother and Angela’s love Joaquin (portrayed by Mark Herras).

The teaser below chronicles the story on how Rhodora was kidnapped when she was a kid and how she acquired a new persona when she gets to return to her family as a grown woman:

“Rhodora X” challenges us to review how deeply we know our loved ones. It is an invitation so difficult to refuse as it ushers us to discover the nuances of our own personal relationships.

Directed by Albert Langitan, the psychologial suspense drama also stars Gardo Versoza, Glydel Mercado, Irma Adlawan, Lollie Mara, Frank Magalona, Vaness del Moral, and Mark Anthony Fernandez, with a special participation of Ms. Boots Anson Roa.

“Rhodora X” is set to premiere this Monday, January 27, under the Telebabad block of GMA 7.
