Karen Davila Checks on Struggling Entrepreneurs Helped by ‘My Puhunan’

Broadcast journalist Karen Davila checks on the once struggling entrepreneurs whose businesses were jumpstarted through the help of “My Puhunan” this Wednesday (Dec 25) on ABS-CBN.

Watch the inspiring stories of dreamers who have grown their own businesses by becoming equipped with skills and small capital through the mentorship from successful businessmen.

These dreamers include barbecue vendor Nora Ciupan, who met Lydia’s Lechon owner Lydia De Roca from whom she learned preparing tasty sauces and setting the right price of her products. After just five months, Nora now earns P1,300 a day and will soon open her own sari-sari store and carinderia.

Joel and Jean Divinagracia’s business is also now booming after they were taught to make their own papaya soap and were given equipment by GT Cosmetics owner Nora Salvane. The couple is now earning at least P2,000 a day and has received multiple orders for their products.

On Christmas eve (Dec 24). Doris Bigornia also features some of the people she bonded with and were made happy by her program “Mutya ng Masa” and gives them the simple things that they said would make them happy.
