US-based People Magazine has released this year's edition of the Sexiest Men Alive and no. 1 on their list this time is rocker Adam Levine.

From Mel Gibson in 1985, this 27 year-old tradition of America’s most-read entertainment magazine saw Tom Cruise, George Clooney, Matt Damon, Ben Affleck, Richard Gere and Brad Pitt among other on the cover. This year, Maroon 5 front man and The Voice US coach Adam Levine takes the honors of being the Sexiest Man Alive.

Available on newsstands as Americans wake up in the other side of the world later today, Adam Levine will be flashing his sexy stare and tattoos on the cover of the magazine. People chose Adam for being on his most successful year, enumerating his achievements such as his June engagement to girlfriend Behati Prinsloo, shooting his first feature film, launching his own clothing line Kmart and a self-named fragrance brand for men and women. Adam Noah Levine is still sizzling at the age of 34 and is originally from Los Angeles, California.
