Quantum Films and Star Cinema have released the official movie poster and full trailer for the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) entry "The Strangers," a teen horror film directed by Lawrence Fajardo.

“The Strangers” is topbilled by Enchong Dee, Julia Montes, Enrique Gil and JM De Guzman. Also in the movie are Cherry Pie Picache, Jaime Fabregas, Johnny Revilla, Spanky Manikan, Art Acuna, Tanya Gomez, Nico Antonio, and Janice de Belen, with special participation of Mark Gil and Rita de Guzman.

The story of this MMFF entry revolves around a family who get lost in a province and start being hunted by “the strangers” or the aswangs.

An official entry of Quantum Films to the 38th Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF), “The Strangers” is scheduled to open in theaters nationwide on December 25, 2012.
