Scenema Concept International, Viva films and CMB Films have released the trailer for their MMFF entry "El Presidente" starring Jeorge E.R. Estregan, Cesar Montano, Christopher de Leon, Cristine Reyes, and Nora Aunor.

From the producers of the award-winning MMFF 2011 movie “Manila Kingpin: The Asiong Salonga Story” comes an epic drama about the Philippine Revolution.

“El Presidente: General Emilio Aguinaldo Story and the First Philippine Republic” stars Laguna Governor Jeorge E.R. Estregan under the screenplay and direction of Mark Meily.

The historical movie will also star Nora Aunor as Hilaria del Rosario-Aguinaldo, Cristine Reyes as Maria Agoncillo-Aguinaldo, Cesar Montano as Andres Bonifacio, and Christopher De Leon as Daniel Tirona.

As part of the 2012 Metro Manila Film Festival, “El Presidente” is set to open on December 25, 2012.
