Grammy Awards 2012 is over leaving British singer Adele as the big (no pun intended) winner. Watch Adele's live Grammy performance which earned her a standing ovation which lasted for more than 30 seconds!

Adele won every award she was nominated for, a total of 6 Grammys, including Record of the Year, Song of the Year and Best Short Form Music Video for “Rolling In The Deep.” Her sophomore album “21” was named album of the year and she also won Best Pop Solo Performance for the track “Someone Like You.”

The British singer said her songs were inspired by her own experience.

“This record is inspired by something that is really normal and everyone’s been through it, just a rubbish relationship, and it’s gone on to do things I can’t tell you how I feel about it, it’s been the most life-changing year,” she said.

Adele performed “Rolling in the Deep” live during the 2012 Grammy Awards – her first public performance after throat surgery. She received a standing ovation afterwards.
