Miss Universe 2011 3rd runner up Shamcey Supsup is already taken.

The lucky guy who is now known in cyberspace as “Shamcey Supsup’s boyfriend” is a Filipino-Chinese model named Lloyd Lee.

Shamcey met Lloyd in her birthday party last May, that’s one month after she was crowned Bb. Pilipinas-Universe. They’ve become a couple on June 16.

Lee comes from a family that owns one of the biggest knitting and textile companies in the Philippines. The 27-year-old scion is a legal management graduate of De La Salle University and works as a part-time model.

According to Lee, it was Supsup’s mother who first found out about their relationship. While Shamcey’s father just learned about it recently through his brother. The two has yet to meet.

In a Facebook statement sent to GMA News, Lloyd said:

“I miss Shamcey so much and can’t wait to see her when she returns to the Philippines. She represented our country with beauty, grace, and class. We’re all proud of her.”

“I’m so proud of Shamcey. I had a good feeling she’s going to nail every part of the competition. It didn’t matter what place she came in because I was already happy for her and what she has accomplished.”

And by the way, Lloyd is a Christian so Shamcey does not have to change her religious beliefs because her guy loves her God, too!
