Christopher Schwarzenegger Figures in a Surfing Accident

Christopher Schwarzenegger, the youngest child of Arnold Schwarzenneger and Maria Shriver, has been released from the hospital after being hurt in a surfing accident.

This was revealed by his mother, Maria, via Twitter on Tuesday.

The 13-year-old Christopher was hospitalized on July 17 with multiple broken bones and a collapsed lung as a result of an accident while he was boogie boarding on Malibu Beach in southern California.

Here are the tweets of Maria Shriver:

“Blessed to be able to take Christopher out of the hospital last night. What a feeling of relief to know that he’s going to be fine.”

“I will forever be grateful to the amazing doctors, nurses and hospital staff in the ICU who helped my son.”

Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver are in the process of divorcing after 25 years of marriage following the revelation that the Terminator star and former California governor had fathered a child with a housekeeper who worked in the family’s home for 20 years.
