Idol Results: Casey Abrams Saved by the Judges, Thia Megia is in Bottom 3
Bottom 3: Thia Megia, Stefano Langone and Casey Abrams.
With over 30 million votes received last night, the lowest vote-getter is Casey Abrams. He started singing “I Don’t Need No Doctor” as his sing-for-his-life piece but after a few notes, Randy cut him off and told him that all three of them judges agreed to use the save on him.
No one goes home tonight but next week two contestants will be cut from the competition.
It was also announced tonight that all Top 11 will go on tour (instead of the usual Top 10).
Other highlights of the night: Top 11 sang “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough”; Sugarland and Idol alum Jennifer Hudson performed; Jennifer Lopez’ husband Marc Anthony helped the Top 11 with their pitch problems.

My GOD!! I guess it is true what they say that AMERICA is already a cultural wasteland. People complaining about how Casey should NOT be saved. All of these contestants are good singers but CASEY is the real performer/musician. Don’t you guys remember that Casey once said that he admires obscure Jazz musicians? He sees and hears music in such a deep level that he wants to share this gift with SHALLOW America. If looks, pageantry, drama, and vocal range INSTEAD of artistry, melodic sense, musicianship, and stage presence is the measure being an American Idol… then America doesn’t deserve a CASEY ABRAMS. Sorry, but Thiais not that great compared to the others. I knew that she would be in the bottom 3. She does not have the vocal power and presence yet. I’ll give her another week or two, then she will be eliminated for sure. She’s young, she can always re-audition in a year or two.

I hope Filipinos in the US vote for Thia so its gonna be a solid vote so she could stay in IDOL. I love Thia and her style. She may not be as good as the local singers in the Phillippines but her style is enough to be included in top 10 of American IDol and its not easy to be even in top 24 due to millions of Americans auditioned and didnt make it. There’s a lot of pressure inside AI and even in top 24 there’s a lot of good singers but failed to be in top 13.So please help Thia not to be voted off. Filipinos in the US please vote for Thia..
