‘Pilipinas Win Na Win!’ to End on December 31?

Pilipinas Win Na Win premiered July 31, 2010 as a response of Willie Revillame’s indefinite leave from Wowowee and the controversial row between him and Jobert Sucaldito. The main hosts were Robin Padilla and Kris Aquino. A week later after the premiere, Padilla took an indefinite leave because of Ramadan. Ratings went downhill since his leave. More co-hosts were introduced after, and a new trend of comedians hosted including Jason Gainza, Pooh, and Chokoleit. Still suffering a plague of low ratings, ABS-CBN asked Kris mid-September for her to leave the show, and so she quietly left the show without any goodbyes on September 30, 2010. Two days later on October 2, ABS-CBN officially announced four new hosts and two new co-hosts. The four hosts tagged as the “hitmakers” include Rico J. Puno, Rey Valera, Marco Sison, and Nonoy Zuñiga. The two new co-hosts include one of the three original co-hosts of Wowowee, Janelle Jamer, and a newcomer: Gazelle “Speedy Gee” Canlas of Music Uplate Live. The six new hosts with the current hosts started hosting October 4, 2010. On October 9, 2010, the “hitmaker” hosts celebrated their first week hosting Pilipinas Win Na Win. The opening featured the hosts singing “Baby”, and each host sung their own popular OPM song. Later, their co-hosts Pokwang, Valerie Concepcion, Janelle Jamer, and “Speedy Gee” gave them a certificate to congratulate their first week on the show. On November 6, 2010, the “hitmakers” celebrated their first month hosting the show.
Because PWNW is coming to an end, is it true that Willie Revillame is asking his former Wowowee co-host Valerie Concepcion, who is currently a co-host in PWNW, to join him in Willing Willie?
There’s no official statement yet from ABS-CBN to confirm if the noontime show is indeed coming to an end and what show will be introduced as replacement.

i will not be surprised that pilipinas win na win will end on dec. 31st dahil and hosts are boring and old pogis. why not change the hosts to a young, sexy and talented. I bet the show will be no. 1

This show is doing well with the hitmakers the reason on why we never failed to watch one episode since then. But with willie and padilla, we never watch it coz theyre both ambog!!! I do not know why the management is shelving it… Bad management!!! They should just add more exciting games on the show, add more air time and let the hitmakers sing they signature songs….

Abs-Cbn and Gma 7 are the best noontime variety shows pareho lang silang nag bibigay ng kaligayahan sa ating mga Pilipino.Kung meron mang Tv5 sana maabot din niya ang narating na ng dalawang Network.At sana ang tv5 huwag bastusin at pag malakihan ni Willie Gaya ng ginawa niya sa abs-cbn.

suggestion lang po. sana pag may ipinalit kayong variety show gawin nyo sanang host is a combination of beauty, gags at versatility in hosting, sana ibalik nyo po sina dick paulate, amy perez at sana sina aiai, toni, iya, johnlyod at mga teens ng shoutout.

PWNWN is a good show. I do not see anything wrong with it. Does it always matter that it has to compete or be number one? Here in States,majority of the Filipinos watch PWNWN. For us,it is a good and an entertaining show.I think the best host is someone who will appeal to both the adult and the younger generation. Kapamilya is the most watch channel here in States. It is the best channel.
