With Rayver Cruz’s entry to the hit teleserye “Martha Cecilia’s Kristine” this week as Lance Navarro, people are wondering if he will stir not only the relationship of characters Jaime and Jewel but also the blooming romance of Zanjoe Marudo and Cristine Reyes.

Rayver, who was formerly linked to Cristine, is seen as a threat to the closeness of Zanjoe and Cristine.

The Prince of Passion Zanjoe, however, believes their personal lives won’t affect their relationships as co-stars.

“Kung anuman ‘yung mga personal sa amin, hiwalay ‘yun sa trabaho. At hindi naman ito reality show, drama ito at may mga characters kaming ginagampanan,” Zanjoe explained.

Rayver said he is close not only with Cristine but also with Zanjoe.

“Si Zanjoe, sinasabi rin sa akin nuon na matagal na tayong magkaibigan pero hindi pa tayo nagkakatrabaho. At least dito, katrabaho ko siya. Hindi ko pa nakakatrabaho ang karamihan sa mga cast, pati na rin si Direk Rory. So na-excite na rin ako,” Rayver said.

Jewel of Romance Cristine, who is now caught in between two prince charmings, said she’s happy to work with Rayver.

“Masaya naman kasi syempre first time naming magkakatrabaho. Nilu-look forward namin dito sa set na maka-trabaho siya,” she said.

Rayver added that the issue between him, Cristine, and Sarah Geronimo is already past.

“Hindi porke hindi na kami nag-uusap eh hindi na kami magkaibigan ni Cristine. Matagal na yun eh, namatay na yung isyu kaya nawala na rin yung tension,” he said.

Ravver’s character Lance will also rock the lives of the lead characters in the country’s epic TV adaptation of the number one best-selling pocketbook series.

In Paso de Blas, although Don Leon seems to have a change of heart towards his granddaughter Jewel, he still stands in the way of Jewel and their driver Jaime’s closeness. Don Leon will invite long-time family friend Lance to a grand occasion, hoping that his visitor will get close with Jewel.
