20 minutes after she learned the Rihanna hit song, Marie Digby filmed herself using a Macbook singing the song while playing a guitar and uploaded it on the web. It accumulated 500,000 views on YouTube for a very short time earning her a national TV appearance on the talk show show Last Call with Carson Daly and a slot on the season premiere of The Hills.

The video already received 13,704,006 views and 51,882 comments to date while Marie Digby has released three studio albums since then.

She is set to hold a one night concert in the Philippines on August 1 at the Fort.
