TV5 is Now in Third Place Nationwide
According to AGB Nielsen Media Research on National Urban Television Audience Measurement (NUTAM), TV5 captured a 3.7% viewership on its first week of airing. The figure was based on a survey on Channel Household Shares Week 33.
ABS-CBN Channel 2 placed first nationwide with 42.2% while rival GMA-7 landed on the second spot at 37.3%.
RPN 9, which is now consolidated with Crime and Suspense Channel on cable tv, placed fourth at 2.7%.
TV5 is the new brand name of ABC 5, which entered into a “long-term block airtime agreement” with MPB Primedia Inc., local subsidiary of the Malaysian conglomerate Media Prima Berhad.
