The Boy Wonder from Taguig, Christian Alvear, missed the Headmaster List of 10 as he was expelled from Pinoy Dream Academy Season 2 Saturday night.

Christian received 43.99% against Iñaki Ting’s 56.01% who made it to the most important cut in PDA so far.

The Headmaster’s List of 10 consists of Apple Abarquez, Bugoy Bugayon, Bunny Malunda, Cris Pastor, Hansen Nicholas, Iñaki Ting, Liezel Garcia, Laarni Losala, Miguel Mendoza and Van Pojas.

In the gala performances, Bugoy, Hansen and Van received a whopping grade of 9.82 making them the Star Scholars of the week. The trio sang an acappella version of the Beatle’s “Yesterday.”

With the announcement of the Headmaster’s List of 10, everyone is safe from expulsion for the whole week. However, honorary scholar “Poy” from Zamboanga was given a chance to become an official scholar on one condition: she should be named star scholar for 3 consecutive weeks.

Can Poy pose a threat to the remaining 10 scholars? Resident judge Gerard Salonga is skeptical if she can beat Laarni or Liezel. After all, she’s from the waiting list. But who knows, maybe she can pull a surprise in the days to come.
