After the successful run of his fantaserye "Joaquin Bordado", Robin Padilla's next project is a movie remake of the 1977 Fernando Poe Jr. film "Totoy Bato" co-starring him with Pambansang Kamao Manny Pacquiao.

Totoy Bato was supposed to be a primetime tv series but the GMA management decided to make it a movie instead. It was written by Carlo J. Caparas, the creator of Joaquin Bordado and the upcoming fantaserye “Gagamboy.”

Robin will play the title role, a tough third-class boxer. Manny Pacquiao will be his mentor.

Also starring in the movie is Bakekang star Sunshine Dizon.
