‘Vic Sotto is the Next Comedy King’ – Dolphy

In the pictorial of the upcoming movie "Dobol Trobol" (Wala Yan Sa Pare Ko) starring Dolphy and Vic Sotto, the Comedy King said he is certain that "Enteng Kabisote" will inherit his throne.

The Comedy King and the Comedy Prince of the Philippine showbiz will team up in a movie for the very first time.

During the pictorial, Dolphy said he can see himself in Vic Sotto when he was still young.

“Parang nakikita ko yun sarili ko sa kanya nung bata pa ako, halos pareho kami ng ugali… Hindi lang susunod, nakasunod na siya… nandoon na e… hari na rin siya,†said the Comedy King.

Vic Sotto, on the other hand, disagreed with Dolphy’s statement. He said there will always be one Comedy King, there will always be one Dolphy.

Dolphy is celebrating his 80th birthday on July 25, 2008.
