Dayo – 1st Full-Length Digital Pinoy Animated Movie

After Urduja, another full-length pinoy animated movie is about to hit the theaters this year. Dayo, a Filipino mythological animated feature, will become the first movie of its kind to be screened in the 34-year history of Metro Manila Film Festival. Watch the trailer after the jump!

Dayo is a creation of Cutting Edge Productions. It is directed by Robert Quilao with Artemio Abad Jr. and Eric Cabatug.

It’s the third pinoy animated movie after Adarna and Urduja. It’s also touted as the very first all-digital full-length animated movie in the Philippines.

It was chosen as one of the eight official entries in this year’s Metro Manila Film Festival Philippines, which kicks off on Dec. 25, Christmas Day.
