Three Asian Heartthrobs are on board for Adolf Alix’s new movie “Kalayaan”.

Taiwanese superstar Ken Zhu of the wildly popular group F4 and who also starred in Alix’s film “Batanes”, has agreed to co-produce the director’s next movie.

Lao-Australian actor Ananda Everingham, who is very popular in Thailand, has agreed to play the lead character in Kalayaan. Ananda appeared in the 2004 horror film “Shutter”.

Also featured in the movie is the Piolo Pascual look-alike Joem Bascon.

The story of Kalayaan is about the plight of Filipino soldiers assigned in the Spratly Islands. It will be helmed by Adolf Alix, the award-winning director of Tambolista and Batanes.
