I was finishing my brunch this noon when all of a sudden my special friend called on my cellphone. He said "Buksan mo ang tv dali! Binanggit ni Edu Manzano ang Starmometer sa Game KNB?!!!" I was like, "Talaga? Bakit naman?" Then i breezed towards the tv set and there it was, the final question is about the result of our annual poll 100 Most Beautiful Pinay of 2006!

I’m in cloud 9 right now. I was shouting the answers to the contestant and i even remember their ranking number that Nina is no. 50, Sarah Geronimo is no. 3, that Lucy Torres-Gomez is somewhere in the middle of 92 to 96. And that there was no pinay with a name starting with the letter “E” who made it to the list last year. This year for sure meron na, example: Ehra Madrigal.

And speaking of 100 Most Beautiful Filipina, magsisimula na ang pag-rank natin ng mga pinakamagagandang pinay para sa taong 2007! Gosh, i’m so excited. Sana ma-feature din ang RP’s Sexiest Men of 2007.

So mga fanclubs get ready to support your idol this year. We’re going to have a different ranking procedure than last year. This time, we will group the nominees into different heats where half of a group will advance to the next round until we get closer to finding our top 20 who will battle it out for your votes for the prestige to be named “The Most Beautiful Filipina” of 2007.

Will it be Angel Locsin again? Will it be KC Concepcion or Katrina Halili or Marian Rivera or Sarah Geronimo or Kristine Hermosa or Wendy Valdez? We shall find out very very soon.
