Heroes Finale and Spin Off

Masi Oka, the Japanese time traveler in NBC's Heroes, told SciFiWire about the exciting finale of the hit tv series that is sweeping America by storm since September 2006.

“I think it’s great the way the finale ends,” Masi Oka (Hiro) said in an interview May 10 at the Saturn Awards in Universal City, Calif., where he was honored for best supporting actor in a television series. “It’s a wrapping up of volume one, which is [called] ‘Genesis.’ And it wraps up the whole bomb storyline. So it’s a nice finale, and there’s a great cliffhanger with everybody, I would say. And you do get to see a little bit of volume two, which is called Generations"
The "Heroes" phenomenon is about to get even bigger. NBC will offer 30 combined episodes of "Heroes" and a spin-off called "Origins," which will introduce a new character each week -- one of whom will be chosen by viewers through the "Heroes" website on NBC.com to become a cast regular on "Heroes" the following season. The 24 regular episodes of "Heroes" will be supplemented with six "Origins" episodes. Watch Heroes Season Finale tv spot after the jump...
