The first reality-based talent search on Philippine television is back! Starstruck, GMA 7's original artista search and now on its 4th season, will begin its first episode tonight in the Telebabad block. The search for the next Mark Herras, Jennylyn Mercado, Katrina Halili and Marky Cielo is now on fire!

This year, Starstruck will declare four winners: The Ultimate Hunk, The Ultimate Sweetheart, and a tandem that will comprise the Ultimate Loveteam—GMA’s answer to Gerald Anderson and Kim Chiu. GMA also extended the age limit from 19 to 21.

Out of more than 10,000 who auditioned from all over the country, 80 remain in contention. And the top 12, 6 guys and 6 girls, shall be revealed this week. Each of the four winners will receive P1 million in cash and P2 million exclusive management contract with GMA, plus other prizes from sponsors.

I’ve seen some of the most promising contestants in the newspaper last week and boy they are really good looking! Hope they can match talent with those looks.
