The final of the 2006 Miss Intercontinental was successfully held yesterday, 15th October 2006 at the magnificent Rainforrest Theatre at the Wyndham Crystal Palace and Casino Resort. 1,500 people watched the show with celebrities such as Bobby Brown, Finnish Designer Peter Nygard and many more.

This is the 35th year of the pageant participated by 48 countries around the world. Last year it was held in China where more than 80 countries participated. Venezuela won last year.

The pageant was formerly known as Miss Teenage Intercontinental. Our best placement in this pageant was in 1995 when our very own Maria Bacud placed 1st Runner-up.
