The six-year-old “search for a cause” beauty pageant called Miss Earth which is organized by Carousel Productions Inc. has not only grown bigger, but it also developed into one of the top 3 international pageants–along with Miss Universe and Miss World.

It was supposed to be held outside the country for the first time, in Santiago, Chile. But due to inevitable circumstances, the organizers decided to stage it here again.
