After placing in the semi-finals last year and the lone-asian candidate to do so, Indonesia is sending yet another great candidate to Miss Universe and she is no other than Nadine Chandrawinata. Nadine is a total package perfect for this beauty pageant where the winner should possess a universal appeal (is it why most MU winners are from a mixed race?).

Well, don’t forget that Asia seems to be stronger this year unlike last year so we can expect more than one semi-finalist from this region come July. Aside from Indonesia, pageant critics are also eyeing for Sri Lanka, India, Lebanon, and of course, Philippines to represent the Asian continent in Miss Universe 2006.
