XG just dropped the news fans have been waiting for – their first full-length album is officially titled “THE CORE – 核”.

The HIPHOP/R&B girl group ignited fan speculation after posting a mysterious image of the single kanji “核” (core) on 30 October, hinting at something powerful beneath the surface. The following day, they unveiled the title of their upcoming world tour “XG WORLD TOUR: THE CORE”, connecting the dots for fans and setting the internet abuzz with theories.

Fans across Asia, North America, the UK & Europe, Australia, Latin America, and beyond can now get ready – XG is bringing THE CORE to the world, kicking off in Japan in February 2026.

First teased at Japan’s largest summer festival a-nation on 30 August, the album has been one of the group’s most anticipated projects since the release of their digital single “GALA” in September. After weeks of silence, today’s official title reveal marks a major turning point in the countdown to XG’s new era.

“THE CORE – 核” represents XG at their purest – a sonic declaration that strips away excess to reveal the essence of who they are. The album dives deep into the root of their music and identity, weaving a story that transcends genre, time, and space. It embodies the concept of X-POP, the genre XG has built and defined for themselves, powered by unshakable belief in their artistry.

Guided by the idea that “great music holds value in and of itself”, the album reflects XG’s evolution and the energy at the heart of their creativity – a bold step into the limitless future they’re carving out.

The tracklist and further details will be announced soon. Fans can now pre-order the album through the XG OFFICIAL US SHOP and stay tuned for more updates across XG’s official channels.
