Vitress Turns Everyday Hair Struggles into InstaGlam Moments with Maris Racal

Vitress, the #1 Hair Styling Brand in the Philippines transformed the front entrance of Watsons Mall of Asia into a vibrant beauty playground on November 22, 2025, as it launched InstaGlam with Vitress, an interactive showcase designed to help Filipinas turn everyday hair emergencies into instant moments of confidence. The event was headlined by actress and singer-songwriter Maris Racal, whose approach to beauty mirrors the brand’s promise of effortless, science-backed care.

Shoppers, influencers, Watsons executives, and fans gathered to experience firsthand how Vitress’ signature InstaShine,  InstaRepair, and InstaFresh technologies instantly smooth, freshen, and revive hair—even during the most unpredictable  biglaang ganaps. Through hands-on demos such as the Spritz N Sniff Challenge, Keratin Shine Check, and Feel the Difference Test, visitors were invited to feel the science at work.

The science behind instant transformation

Designed for the Philippine climate and on-the-go lifestyle, Vitress products target the daily hair concerns familiar to most Filipinas—humidity-induced frizz, dullness, dryness, and amoy-araw odor from long commutes.

InstaShine (Vitress Cuticle Coat Classic) uses a lightweight silicone blend that seals strands for smooth, glossy shine without oiliness.

InstaRepair (Vitress Keratin Shine) brings together Keratin and Pro-Vitamins B5 and E to condition and revive dry or rough hair.

InstaFresh (Vitress Hair Freshener) neutralizes odor while keeping hair smooth, using an innovative deodorizing technology ideal for active days.

These solutions were demonstrated on the spot, proving why Vitress has remained a trusted Filipino favorite for 20 years.

Maris Racal embodies the Vitress lifestyle

As the highlight of the event, Maris shared how her own routine reflects Vitress’ message of confidence through simplicity. Despite her busy schedule filled with shoots, rehearsals, and appearances, she maintains a surprisingly low-maintenance approach to hair care.

“My routine is very simple,” she said. “I wash my hair once a day and get treatments every now and then. Whenever my hair feels dry, I apply Vitress on the ends to add shine and make it look put-together. It never fails me. I really believe simplicity is key.”

This philosophy extends to how she chooses the products she uses and endorses.

“I always trust products that have stood the test of time,” Maris shared. “I’ve been using Vitress since high school, and it has never failed me. That consistency made it easy for me to trust the brand and eventually partner with them.”

Her belief in great hair as a confidence booster also resonates deeply with Vitress’ core mission.

“A good hair day truly gives me a boost of confidence,” she said. “It helps me face the world and the camera with better energy and a sense of power. On or off cam, great hair makes me feel ready for anything.”

Even with the pressure of always being camera-ready, Maris shared how she keeps herself grounded.

“I remind myself that I’m doing this for me, not for anyone else,” she said. “That mindset has been so important for my confidence. Performing or looking good just for other people isn’t healthy for your core. When you do it for yourself, the pressure becomes so much lighter.”

As 2025 comes to a close, Maris also expressed excitement and gratitude for what lies ahead.

“I’m really excited for what’s ahead,” she said. “I have big plans for 2026, and I’m finally pursuing my dream of releasing an album that’s very close to my heart. I’m also proud of how 2025 went. So many beautiful things happened, and I learned so much. I’m grateful that my supporters continue to grow with me.”

Her personal reflections tied seamlessly into the event’s message: when hair feels good, you feel ready to take on anything—whether it’s a big career milestone or a spontaneous appearance.

A trusted essential for 20 years

Vitress continues to be a staple in Filipino beauty routines, consistently recognized as Hair Styling Brand of the Year at the Watsons Health & Beauty Awards from 2017 to 2025. Its continued innovation ensures that its products remain relevant, accessible, and effective.

The InstaGlam pop-up will stay at Watsons MOA for two weeks, giving more shoppers the chance to try the products, consult with Brand Ambassadors, and enjoy exclusive in-store promotions.

Vitress is available nationwide in Watsons stores and online at Watsons.com.ph, Shopee, Lazada, and the TikTok Shop.
