Ogie Diaz Calls Out Willie Revillame for Losing Temper During Motorcade

Entertainment journalist and talent manager Ogie Diaz has criticized senatorial candidate Willie Revillame for losing his temper during a motorcade.

In a viral video, Willie was seen looking visibly irate, reprimanding people around his campaign float, while aggressively throwing t-shirts to the crowd.

“Dapat aware ang kandidato sa kanyang behavior pag nangangampanya, lalo na’t ang daming nakatutok na camera sa iyo,” Ogie said on Facebook.

“Hindi dapat pinapairal ang init ng ulo. Alam naman nating mainit na ang panahon, kaya pasensiya ang dapat pahabain,” he added, insisting that “paano tayo iboboto nyan kung nakakalimutan nating ngumiti man lang kahit hindi na magbigay ng jacket?”

Ogie emphasized that frequent on-air outbursts or scolding of staff and co-hosts — as witnessed several times in Willie\’s television program—shouldn\’t be mistaken by voters as acceptable behavior during a campaign.

“Lagi nating iisipin na nanliligaw tayo ng botante para iboto tayo at ipanalo. Pass na muna sa, “Eh sa ganito ugali ko, eh. Nagpapakatotoo lang ako,” he pointed out.

“Jacket lang ang ipinamimigay, hindi naman titulo ng house and lot. So hindi dapat ganyan ang attitude,” Ogie ended.

Willie has also faced backlash after admitting he had no legislative proposals when asked about his campaign platform.
