May Basbas ng Hari: Dingdong Dantes Backs Bam Aquino Anew, Lauds His Integrity and Track Record

Starmo Admin May 5, 2025 2 minutes read

Kapuso Primetime King Dingdong Dantes has expressed his backing for the senatorial bid of former Senator and independent candidate Bam Aquino, citing his integrity and track record rooted in a genuine heart for service.

In a Facebook post, Dingdong said he recently caught up with Bam over hot chocolate and coffee after picking up his kids from school.

“With the final stretch of his campaign coming up, I wanted to personally wish him well and hear how he’s doing,” said Dingdong, who supported and campaigned for Bam in his 2013 and 2019 senatorial bids.

The actor recalled his decades-old friendship with Bam, which dates back to their grade school days, when Bam was still known as “Bam-bam.”

Over the years, they have worked together on youth-centered advocacies and co-hosted several shows, including their most recent collaboration, the online program “DongBam AsenShow”.

“But beyond all that, what I’ve always respected and admired about Bam is his integrity, consistency, clear vision, and a track record that speaks for itself — all anchored by a genuine heart for service,” Dingdong pointed out.

“Now that we’re both fathers, our conversations naturally drift toward family, our kids, and the future we hope to help shape for them. It’s always reassuring to catch up with friends who stay true to their purpose and continue to find ways to turn hope into action,” he added.

Aside from Bam, the actor also backed Leni Robredo’s vice presidential and presidential campaigns in 2016 and 2022, respectively.
