Marlo Mortel Brings the Heat in New Single ‘Tag-Init’

Starmo Admin March 21, 2025 2 minutes read

Kapamilya singer Marlo Mortel lets out his frustration about infidelity among relationships in his new single under Star Music called “Tag-init.”

In the pop track, Marlo questions why love loses its spark and how people can easily choose to be disloyal to their partner.

“Para ito sa mga manloloko, sa mga in a relationship pero pinipili pa rin lumandi sa iba,” Marlo said in a X post.

He composed and produced the song which marks his second single following his Valentine’s offering “Manhid.”

Marlo rose to prominence from his acting stint in the series “Be Careful With My Heart” and “Oh My G!” He dabbled into the music scene and performed the song “M.O.O. (My Only One),” an entry to the 2015 OPM Fresh songwriting competition.

In 2018, he released his debut album “Serye” which earned him the award for Male Pop Artist of the Year at the 11th PMPC Star Awards for Music. His latest single “Tag-init” was featured in Spotify’s New Music Friday Philippines.

Check out Marlo’s new single “Tag-init” available on various streaming platforms. For more details, follow Star Music on Facebook, X (Twitter), Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
