Hikaru Utada’s latest song, “Mine or Yours,” came out in May. The celebrated J-pop artist performed the new track on the acclaimed YouTube channel THE FIRST TAKE, and it has quickly captured attention domestically and abroad. Ahead of the upcoming analog vinyl release scheduled for November 26, electronic artist Yaeji has been announced as contributing a remix of the song to this record.

Yaeji is a New York-based artist, producer, vocalist and DJ. She has garnered global acclaim through performances including for Boiler Room and at major festivals, as well as for her original work, including her 2023 debut album With A Hammer being recognized as one of the “Best Albums of 2023” by Pitchfork, New York Magazine, i-D, NME, Rolling Stone, Stereogum, and Variety. In August of this year, she held her solo performance in Japan, further building a devoted fanbase in the country.

To mark the release, a special pre-order campaign begins today. Fans who pre-order the track via iTunes before 23:59 Japan time on October 5, the day before the release, will receive an original ruler featuring the “Mine or Yours” logo. Additionally, pre-orders and pre-saves will be rewarded with an exclusive digital image gift. Full details can be found on the dedicated release pre-order campaign page.
