Gerald Anderson steps into a dangerous undercover role as a police major named Allan Espina to find the truth about the attack in his community in ABS-CBN’s hit primetime series “Blood vs Duty.”

Celebrating his 20th year in the industry, which started in the “Pinoy Big Brother” house in 2006, Gerald now takes on a dual role as Allan, the newly assigned liaison officer from the Muslim Affairs, and Jalil, a trusted protector of his community. He infiltrates the special investigation division and comes face-to-face with Richard Gutierrez (Marcus), the agent who led the attack and capture of his father, Datu Rahman (Jaime Fabregas).

JRB Creative Production, the ABS-CBN unit behind the series, also announced the new cast members who will be joining the action-drama: Yves Flores, Marc Abaya, and Joem Bascon, comprising Metal 13; and River Joseph, L.A. Santos, Albie Casino, and Lou Yanong, with Ejay Falcon, as members of the new Task Force Alpha.

Senator Robin Padilla, known as the Alamat ng Aksyon, has also begun appearing in the series as Ahmad Mustapha, who is the key to Allan (Gerald)’s access in the government.

Will Allan succeed in exposing the truth, or will double-crossing agent Lara (Bela Padilla) stand in his way?

Don’t miss the action in “Blood vs Duty,” airing from Mondays to Fridays on ABS-CBN sa ALLTV2, A2Z, Kapamilya Channel, and Kapamilya Online Live at 8pm. The series also streams on Netflix, 72 hours in advance, and iWant, 48 hours in advance of its television airing.  To watch “Blood vs Duty” on ABS-CBN sa ALLTV2, turn on your digital black box, press the scan button on the remote control, and look for ALLTV2.

Meanwhile, Gerald and fellow “Blood vs Duty” actor Baron Geisler sit down together on the hostless talk show “Stars on Stars” for a rare and revealing conversation about their experience working in the series and in showbiz throughout the years. Catch the new episode of “Stars on Stars” on Jeepney TV Facebook page and YouTube channel this Saturday (May 9), 7PM.
