Through FDA Advisories No. 2026-0856 and No. 2026-0858 dated July 30, 2026, the FDA recalled affected batches of Beauty White Facial Toner (Batch/Lot No. YGRT 260203) and Beauty Love Skin Essentials Rejuvenating Facial Toner (Batch/Lot No. BLT260301), manufactured by You Glow Babe Skin Care Product Trading OPC and KCN Enterprises, respectively.

According to the FDA, the cosmetic products were found to contain the banned ingredients Tretinoin and Hydroquinone following laboratory analysis conducted as part of the agency’s post-marketing surveillance (PMS) activities.

“Due to significant health and safety concerns, Tretinoin and Hydroquinone are prohibited for use in cosmetic products, as listed under Annex II, Reference Nos. 375 and 1339 of the ASEAN Cosmetic Directive (ACD),” the FDA said.

The FDA said potential side effects include skin, eye, and respiratory irritation, hypersensitivity or allergic reactions, increased sensitivity to ultraviolet (UV) radiation, exogenous ochronosis, reproductive and developmental toxicity, and potential carcinogenic and genotoxic effects.

“All concerned establishments are hereby warned not to distribute the affected batch of this cosmetic product containing the banned ingredients Tretinoin and Hydroquinone, and the public is also advised not to purchase any stocks from the affected batch,” the FDA said.

The FDA likewise directed all its Regional Field Offices and Regulatory Enforcement Units, local government units, and law enforcement agencies to ensure that the affected stocks are no longer made available in the market within their localities or areas of jurisdiction.

The agency also advised consumers who may have purchased the affected batches of the products containing the banned ingredients or who wish to report any adverse reactions to contact the products’ respective manufacturers throughkcnenterprises2@gmail.com and hr.ygbmainofficial@gmail.com.

The FDA encouraged the public to visit the agency’s website and navigate to the eSumbong section to report any sale, distribution, complaint, and/or adverse event regarding the use of violative cosmetic products.
