Dingdong Dantes: I\’ve Been a Bam Aquino Volunteer Since 2013

newadmin May 9, 2025

Actor Dingdong Dantes personally declared his full support for his long-time friend, former Senator and independent senatorial candidate Bam Aquino, and lauded his supporters, saying he’s also been a Bam Aquino volunteer since 2013.

“I feel good to be around you (volunteers), and of course on a very, very special day, sa birthday at kaarawan ni Bam. Dahil siyempre, pakiramdam ko, kasama ko kayo dahil isa din, isa din akong volunteer magmula pa noong 2013, dun sa BamBus,” Dantes said, thanking them for being there for Bam from the onset.

“I think that\’s because of our shared admiration, our shared respect, and shared love for our birthday boy. Kaya siguro nararapat din na bigyan natin siya ng dasal at ng isang magandang pagbati sa napakahalaga ang kaarawan niya,” he added.

Dingdong said he has known Bam since their grade school days, with the latter being a few years ahead of him.

“Magkakilala na kami noon pa lang. Mga three years po siyang higher batch—mas matanda nang konti sa akin,” Dingdong shared.

“Pero noon pa lang, pakiramdam ko, kasama na ako at miyembro na ako ng Bam Bam Fans Club,” he added, referring to Bam\’s nickname during his childhood days.

As for his personal birthday wish for Bam, Dingdong said, “For him to have the strength to carry on lahat ng mga plano niya para sa atin. Dahil kailangan niya ito siyempre para magampanan ang gusto niya gawin para sa ating bayan.”

Bam Aquino ranked 11th in the latest Pulse Asia survey conducted from April 20 to 24.
