The nine-member K-pop group AHOF is making waves again with the release of their second mini album, “The Passage.” Dropping on November 4, the concept-driven collection of five fairy-tale-inspired tracks charts a sonic journey from youth to adulthood, and the fan response has been nothing short of explosive.

“The Passage” invites listeners into a narrative universe where whimsy meets realism. Each track threads a story of growth, vulnerability, and resilience, anchored by lush harmonies, intricate vocal layering, and a production palette that fuses synth-pop with cinematic textures. The title track, “Pinocchio Hates Lies,” has quickly become a fan favorite—its bold melody and emotionally charged storytelling feel both cinematic and intimate. “The Passage is less about a single moment and more about the evolution of a person over time,” says group leader Steven. “We wanted the music to reflect how we’ve grown as artists and as individuals.”

In less than 48 hours, The Passage sold over 350,000 copies on Hanteo, a testament to AHOF’s rapidly expanding fanbase and the album’s universal appeal. The release has also pushed the mini-album to the top of global iTunes charts, signaling a broad international resonance beyond their core fan communities. The group’s sudden ascent mirrors a broader industry trend: K-pop acts continuing to leverage cohesive concept storytelling and high-quality visuals to capture a global audience. AHOF’s team leaned into vivid music videos, theatrical performances, and synchronized choreo to maximize the album’s impact across streaming and physical sales.

“The Passage” debuted at no. 5 of global iTunes charts, signaling widespread digital traction. The album’s title track, “Pinocchio Hates Lies,” has amassed more than 10 million of YouTube views, driven by the duo of a gripping narrative video and behind-the-scenes content. Pre-orders broke regional records in several Asian markets, topping iTunes charts in the Philippines, New Zealand, Brunei, Saudi Arabia, UAE, and Singapore, with enthusiasm carrying into Europe and North America. Industry analysts point to AHOF’s cohesive concept, strong vocal chemistry, and a relentless touring schedule as key drivers of this momentum.

Fans have embraced “The Passage” for its mature sound and relatable themes. Social media buzz highlights the emotional depth of the songs, with listeners sharing personal interpretations of the lyrics and imagery. AHOF’s live performances during their showcase have garnered praise for their precision and emotive delivery.

With “The Passage” continuing to make waves, fans can expect a global tour announcement in the coming weeks, with dates in major cities across Asia, Europe, and North America, behind-the-scenes content exploring the making of “The Passage, including recording sessions and choreography development. FOHAs are now rallying for AHOF to win the highly contested “Rookie of the Year” award.
