
ABS-CBN received top honors for its stellar talents’ powerful portrayals and positive influence at the 27th Gawad PASADO Awards of the Pampelikulang Samahan ng mga Dalubguro (PASADO).
“Lavender Fields” lead stars bagged major awards, with Janine Gutierrez and Jodi Sta. Maria being named as PinakaPASADOng Aktres sa Telebisyon, while Jericho Rosales was recognized as PinakaPASADOng Aktor sa Telebisyon.
Kapamilya rising child star Zia Grace was hailed as PinakaPASADOng Batang Aktres sa Telebisyon for her breakout role in “Saving Grace,” where she played the role of a mistreated daughter who was rescued by her teacher.
Star Magic artists Francine Diaz and Seth Fedelin were each awarded the PinakaPASADOng Dangal ng Kabataan award for being inspirations to the youth.
Meanwhile, the heartfelt theme song “Palagi,” from the blockbuster movie “Hello, Love, Again,” performed by husband-and-wife duo KZ Tandingan and TJ Monterde, was named PinakaPASADOng Musika.
PASADO is an organization composed of educators from public and private schools that evaluates television shows and films that can be used as learning resources for different disciplines. It annually holds the Gawad PASADO Awards to honor outstanding stories and talents while promoting the creative industry and innovation in education.
