The GMA Gala 2024 took place on Saturday night, July 20, at the Grand Ballroom of Manila Marriott Hotel, celebrating the brightest stars in the Kapuso network. Adding glamour to the event were some Kapamilya stars and sponsors.

Kylie Padilla and David Licauco were named “Best Dressed Stars of the Night,†while Sofia Pablo and Allen Ansay were honored as “Young Stars of the Night.†Ysabel Ortega and Miguel Tanfelix, along with Julie Anne San Jose and Rayver Cruz, were awarded “Couple of the Night.†Korean heartthrob Kim Ji Soo who had a recurring guest appearance in the top-rating primetime series \”Black Rider,\” won the “Red Carpet Scene Stealer†award. Hall of Fame honors went to Alden Richards, Bea Alonzo, Dingdong Dantes, Marian Rivera, and Heart Evangelista.
Also at the event, Andrea Torres, Bianca Umali, Sanya Lopez, Barbie Forteza, Kyline Alcantara, and Ruru Madrid were honored with the “Sparkle Choice Awards.†Other notable accolades included Ken Chan as Bingoplus Gala Night Icon, and Alden Richards as Aqua Boracay Tropical Trendsetter. Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera were honored as the Avignon Grand Couple of the Night, while Gabbi Garcia received the Belo Beauty of the Night award. Kylie Padilla was named Honor 200 AI Portrait Master of the Night, and Rabiya Mateo won the Luxe Slim Fit and Glam Award. Heart Evangelista and Chiz Escudero were recognized as the Perfect McCafe Blend of the Night. Derrick Monasterio took home the Premier Drip Star of the Night award, Gazini Ganados was celebrated as the ToledoMed Angel of the Night, and Jillian Ward was acknowledged for her Sparkling Smile of the Night.
A number of Kapamilya stars graced the event like Vice Ganda, Vhong Navarro, Jhong Hilario, Ryan Bang, Ogie Alcasid, Darren Espanto, and Cianne Dominguez representing the noontime show It\’s Showtime which is currently airing on GMA-7. Kapamilya heartthrobs Tony Labrusca and Enchong Dee also attended the event as representative of some of the event\’s sponsors.
One hour before the red carpet event started, GMA Gala already trended at number one on X (formerly Twitter).
Now in its third year, the GMA Gala serves as a fundraiser for the Kapuso Foundation, supporting a variety of charitable organizations.
