The highly rated Korean thriller “Queen Mantis” is now captivating viewers with its gripping story and psychological depth after premiering last Monday (May 4) on ABS-CBN sa ALLTV2, A2Z, Kapamilya Channel, and iWant.

Topbilled by acclaimed actress Go Hyun-jung and actor Jang Dong-yoon, the series delivers a suspense-filled narrative anchored on powerful performances and a chilling premise.

“Queen Mantis” follows Jeong I-Shin (Go Hyun-jung), a former housewife turned notorious serial killer known as the “Mantis,” who murdered five abusive men two decades ago—targeting those who harmed women and children. Her actions earned her both fear and a controversial sense of vigilante justice.

Her estranged son, Cha Su-Yeol (Jang Dong-yoon), grows up haunted by her crimes and later becomes a police officer. When a new string of murders emerges bearing the same signature as the “Mantis,” Su-Yeol is forced to confront his past and seek help from the one person he resents most—his mother.

As the investigation unfolds, the uneasy alliance between mother and son ignites tension, secrets, and psychological conflict that blur the line between justice and vengeance.

Don’t miss “Queen Mantis” beginning this Monday at 9:30 PM on ABS-CBN sa ALLTV2, A2Z, Kapamilya Channel, and iWant.
