TOMONARI SORA dashes back into the Assassination Classroom with his new track “Teacher”.
The song serves as the official theme for Assassination Classroom The Movie: Everyone’s Time, set for nationwide release on 20 March. The project marks his second consecutive musical contribution to the beloved franchise, further cementing his growing creative bond with the series.
Written, composed, and arranged entirely by TOMONARI SORA himself, “Teacher” unfolds as an emotionally charged, piano-driven ballad told from a teacher’s perspective. The track once again highlights his signature strength: pairing delicate narrative detail with haunting melodic precision.
“I wrote this song after thoroughly thinking about one of Assassination Classroom’s themes: human growth,” shares TOMONARI SORA. “At 23, I’m at an age that sits right between student and teacher, so I felt that now I could express both perspectives. I would be happy if listeners could hear it as if they were reading a letter or a diary.”
Built on a nostalgic, heart-tightening piano motif, the song quietly captures fragile emotions and vivid memories. As it traces the decade-long journey of Class 3-E, “Teacher” wraps the film’s core sentiment in sound, amplifying its emotional impact for audiences.
