For more than half a century, Sesame Street has been a beloved cornerstone of children’s media, enchanting young minds and nurturing a love of learning. Elmo, Cookie Monster, Abby Cadabby, and all their friends are back with a reimagined new season, now streaming on Netflix and available to audiences worldwide. The much-awaited second season will arrive on March 9.
New episodes will center on one 11-minute story, allowing for plenty of character-driven humor and heart. The curriculum will continue to focus on emotional well-being — from learning calming strategies when big feelings arise to developing listening and problem-solving skills.
“Sesame Street’s curriculum is designed to meet children’s most pressing needs — so our focus this season is on kindness and compassion,” executive producer Sal Perez says. “Something we can all use more of today.”

All the original Sesame Street characters — Elmo, Zoe, Abby, Grover, Bert and Ernie, Big Bird, Cookie Monster, and more — will be there to bring joy and learning to children this season.
