Maki ruled the top of iTunes Philippines and ranked among Spotify’s top OPM artists with the release of his highly anticipated debut album “KOLORCOASTER.”

“We’ve been working nonstop for the last two years. This album might be the most challenging thing I ever did in my life but also the most fulfilling one. God knows how much me and everyone who helped create this project, worked hard and gave pieces of our hearts inside this album, this story, this world. ‘KOLORCOASTER’ is now yours,” Maki wrote in his Facebook post.

Aside from topping the iTunes Philippines, “KOLORCOASTER” racked up numerous achievements upon its release as it also charted in iTunes Qatar, UAE, Kuwait, Singapore, and Oman. The album also ranked at no. 10 in Spotify’s Top Album Debut Global. It also entered the top 10 albums of Apple Music Philippines, while its album tracks charted inside the top 200 songs. The album’s release also propelled Maki into the top 10 of Spotify’s Daily Top Artist Philippines where he ranked as third most streamed OPM artist.

“KOLORCOASTER” showcases different forms and colors of love throughout its 10 tracks, including new songs such as “turning green,” “INDIGO (with u),” “Nangungulila,” “itim na ulap,” “Abelyana,” “ROYGBIV,” and previously released singles “Dilaw,” “Namumula,” “Bughaw,” and “kahel na langit.”

Maki wrote the album that was produced by Shadiel Chan, Jovel Rivera, Nhiko Sabiniano, with the help of Jacob Clemente and Tati de Mesa.

“Abelyana” landed at the top of Spotify New Music Friday Philippines, while “INDIGO (with u)” was featured in Spotify New Music Friday Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Vietnam, Indonesia, Korea, and Japan.
