FMG Presses Golden Buzzer for Dance Group FM Lightrix in ‘Pilipinas Got Talent’

Freddie “FMG” Garcia finally gave his coveted Golden Buzzer after he was left in awe of FM Lightrix, which utilized colorful LED strips in their high-tech dance performance in “Pilipinas Got Talent” Season 7 last Sunday (April 20).FM Lightrix, who hails from Cebu City, illuminated the “PGT” stage by using LED costume design in their high-energy dance act featuring complex formations and jaw-dropping illusions. By joining the show, the group hopes to help their members finish their studies by funding tuition fees through the prize money.FMG applauded the FM Lightrix’s mastery of the play of lights, commending their dance sequence and unique act. He also said that it is the first time he witnessed that kind of performance in the seven years he served as a judge in “PGT.”

Moreover, Donny Pangilinan praised FM Lightrix’s goal of putting their members through school, while Kathryn Bernardo and Eugene Domingo expressed their admiration for the group and their awesome performance.

The Golden Buzzer is a special privilege given to the four judges and the hosts, allowing them to send an act straight to the live semifinals. Each judge and the hosts can only use it once throughout the auditions. Currently, there are only two Golden Buzzers left for the auditionees.
